"Naím y el Mago Fugitivo"
I really liked working on this, it was a small project,
but the story was very nice.

hehe I have illustrated four already (counting this one), and am working on the fifth. Of course, I haven't written the stories (the texts are by different writers), and they are pretty small projects, but I really like working as an illustrator! I learn something every day!
here, you can see samples of them in my blog: [link]

:D I am really glad you like it! :tighthug:

that must have kept you really busy.
How is it though? How did you get yourself out there? *curious

heheh yes, it did...
I love it! It's so nice to work doing what you love most, and seeing it materialized in a book! it's such a great feeling!
But not everything is sooo perfect, you know. It's hard sometimes because you don't earn enough money at this point (I mean, when you are not known and you work in small projects). Besides, you have to be your own agent and try to find jobs by yourself. And that's not easy...

I started with a little book, someone I knew offered me that job. I am a teaching assistant at illustration classes in an Art School, and that's where this person knew me from. After that, I created a place to show my stuff (a pseudo-website), and a publisher mailed me offering me another book project... and so on. Most of these jobs got to me by mail and through my website. That's why it's really important to have a place to show your stuff!

:huggle: thanks for asking! :D
